NGor Island Surfcamp, Senegal. The hospitality business has been leading the surf tourism industry in Senegal for 8 years. An increasing need for recruiting future guests through mobile channels led to  i.e. Instagram or Facebook, combined with the want to decrease the perceived danger of traveling to Senegal, called for an in-depth strategic evaluation by KAOS.


Senegal as a tourist destination is just starting to become popular. Although adventurous, sportive travellers have been reverberating the safety of the destination, only a fraction of potential guests actually make it to the country. Another important factor is the specificity of surf tourism as a category as travellers make their choices mainly according to the accessibility and performance of waves.
